ASTOUND Group Taps Heather Clayton as CFO to Drive Expansion

ASTOUND Group has named Heather Clayton its new chief financial officer, bringing in an executive with proven experience scaling complex operations in Las Vegas. The appointment arrives as the company pursues mergers, acquisitions, new ventures, and intellectual property development. Clayton's hire strengthens the financial backbone for this aggressive growth trajectory.

Proven Track Record in High-Growth Environments

Clayton advanced from controller to chief financial officer over six years with a prominent Las Vegas organization. She managed accounting and finance during rapid expansion that grew the entity from two to thirteen components in just over two years. Her oversight extended to venues, partnering foundations, and multiple hotel acquisitions, demonstrating skill in handling multifaceted financial operations under pressure.

Prior to that role, Clayton honed her expertise in the Las Vegas casino sector, rising from general ledger manager to controller at American Casino and Entertainment Properties. This progression highlights her ability to build and lead finance teams in demanding, multi-entity settings.

Financial Strategy for ASTOUND's Next Phase

In her new position, Clayton will direct financial operations and strategy amid organic growth, strategic deals, venture launches, and IP portfolio expansion. Her familiarity with Las Vegas dynamics equips her to support ASTOUND's shift to larger-scale execution. The company specializes in experiential design, fabrication, and venue integration for major events and installations.

“Building a company of real scale takes more than exceptional creative and operational capability. It requires the financial leadership to match,” said Dale Morgan, CEO of ASTOUND Group. “Heather scaled a complex, multi-entity organization in this market and did it at the highest level. She knows how to build financial infrastructure that enables growth, not just tracks it. Her joining us is a clear signal of where ASTOUND is headed.”

Building Sequential Leadership Depth

This move follows recent additions to venue leadership, including Karim Wazani as head of that division and Brittany Castle's promotion to senior vice president of client partnerships. Together, these changes invest across business functions, from client delivery to company-wide scaling. Clayton's arrival completes a layer focused on sustainable financial support.

“ASTOUND is at an inflection point that does not come around often,” said Heather Clayton, CFO of ASTOUND Group. “The creative capability, the fabrication infrastructure, the client roster, the venue momentum: everything is in place for something significant. The opportunity to help build the financial foundation for that growth, in a city I know and love, was one I could not pass up.”

Reinforcing Las Vegas Market Presence

The hire signals ASTOUND's deepening roots in Las Vegas, where it already delivers end-to-end experiential solutions for prominent venues and events. As the city solidifies its status as a center for entertainment and brand activations, companies like ASTOUND position themselves to meet rising demand for integrated venue experiences. Clayton's local experience aligns directly with this strategic emphasis.
